ChurchBell now lives on your phone, with a home for everyone. Administrators can run the church on the go: record receipts and payments, look up members and families, collect house-visit offertories, and review reports and dashboards, all from the app. Members get their own space: view their subscription and payment status, see their giving history and family, download receipts, and keep their profile up to date. Sign in with a one-time code or a passkey, and everything stays in step with the web app in real time.
Stay informed the moment things happen. Members get a gentle nudge when a receipt is issued, a subscription is due, or a special date is coming up; administrators get alerts for the things that matter: new member requests, critical activity, and account-security warnings. Every notification opens straight to the right screen with a single tap, and a full in-app inbox keeps a tidy history so nothing gets lost. You stay in control of which alerts you receive.
Keep your member directory accurate without becoming the bottleneck. From the mobile app, members can request changes to their own details: a new phone number, a corrected date of birth, an updated address. The request lands with your team for review, and a one-tap approval applies it to the record (or you can decline with a note). Members keep their information current; you keep the final say.
A simple log for pastoral home visits. Record who was visited and when, jot a note, and (if an offertory was received) capture it right there. The offertory posts as a real receipt against the family head and your chosen income ledger, so it flows straight into your day book with no double entry. On mobile, location is captured quietly in the background for a quick check-in; on the web you can back-date past visits. Every member's visit history shows on their profile, and the whole log exports to Excel or PDF.
Keep track of every fixed and term deposit your church holds with the bank. Record the principal, interest rate, tenure and maturity date; book interest as it's earned (posted as a real receipt to your chosen ledger); and handle renewals and closures cleanly, with the full chain preserved. Maturity reminders reach your finance team well ahead of time so nothing lapses unnoticed, and a Register and an Interest-Income report export to Excel and PDF for your audit.
A new self-service security screen shows every device signed in to your account, and lets you sign out any one of them, or all your other devices, in a tap. If someone signs in from a new device or a new location, you're alerted instantly by push (and WhatsApp), so an unexpected sign-in never goes unnoticed. Repeated failed sign-in attempts raise a heads-up too, and for administrators the audit timeline gains a one-click "security events" view.
Pin the screens you use every day to a ⭐ Quick Access section that sits right at the top of your menu, on both web and mobile. Reorder them to taste, and collapse the sections you rarely touch so your sidebar stays focused on what you actually do. Set it once, and ChurchBell opens the way you work.
Keep the assessment your church pays to the diocese fully accounted for, right inside ChurchBell. Set up the yearly assessment with its twelve monthly instalments and annual funds, record each payment as it's made, watch the running balance settle, and download a clean, server-generated statement PDF, so your dues are always clear and easy to reconcile.
Bigger reports now run in the background and let you know the moment they're ready. No more staring at a spinner. A new Report Center is home to a Family Directory (a complete household-by-household roll, in Excel or PDF) and a Member Contribution Summary with the date range and month-by-month breakdown you need for statements and collection drives.
A single, clear place to decide who can sign in to your church's portal and exactly what they can do. From the profile menu, grant portal access to a member, choose their role, and fine-tune permissions module by module, with guard-rails so no one can hand out more access than they hold themselves. Role and permission editing has moved out of the member form into this dedicated screen, on both web and mobile.
